I have an Asus A7V333 board. Recently died out of unknown reason. Won't\nbootup, power light shows green. Seft-diagnosed to be the mobo's fault.\n(Switched out everything, won't boot still) The only thing I did before the\nproblem was I did the "pencil trick" on the socket, the one that unlock the\nhigh multiplyer in t-bred cpus. I erased most of the pencil trace and now\nit's on its way to RMA. I wonder if that disqualifies my warranty? The\ntrace is not really visible but is visible if you pay close attention to\nthe socket. Any thoughts? I am kina worried because I don't want to wait a\nweek just to find out it's rejected. Any reply is much appreciated. Thanks!
