Does the K7s5A Pro take Single Sided SDRAM?

    Hi:

    I bought a single-sided, 8 chip stick of 256 RAM for my brother's P2. It
only showed up as half of what it should have been. Anyways, I'm going to
pass down my 1.333 TBird to my brother, and was planning to use a K7S5A pro
to use his existing, double sided 256 meg stick of SDRAM. Will the other
single sided stick work in the K7S5A Pro? Thanks.

    Yes it will.

The issue isn't the 'sidedness' as such, it's the density of the RAM.
A single sided 256MB stick (or double sided 512MB stick, for that
matter) will be 256MBit density, and hence not fully compatible with
older P2 motherboards which max out at 128MBit density.
