dvd reader writer setup

hiya,

im trying to set up a reader, atapi 12x reader and a writer pioneer 105 on my abit kd7 raid board,

does anyone know the correct configuration,

am i better putting the reader as master on ide 3 (raid) and writer as master on ide 4 (raid)

or both on ide 2 as master and slave respectively.

totaly confused.

For best performance, put your hard drives on the Highpoint RAID controller, whether or not you have them set up in a RAID array.

Then set the DVD drives each as master on it's own channel on the VIA controller.
