Fewer "reserved ranged exhausted" crashes in Panther with multiple monitors?

    In Jaguar 10.2.8 on my PowerBook I get a few "Reserved range exhausted.
    (0xbbef8000 to 0xbc593000 goes out of bounds)" crashes. I've heard that it's
    been traced to using multiple monitors, and, in my case, when I'm using two
    monitors is the only time I get them.

    Does anyone have any experience (1) moving from Jaguar to Panther; (2) where
    you used multiple monitors in both; and (3) you got or still get those
    crashes?

    Has Panther been an improvement? Same? (I'd include Worse? but I certainly
    hope not!)
