FM-PLX Modem Problems

Seems to either work in fax mode or in voice but not both at the same time. Huh? Thought maybe a
new driver would help but don't know what they mean by CTR21, FCC or JATE Territories. What drivers
do I download for USA? Will they even help? Very poor modem.

 

A little OT, but... In the USA you're FCC.

If you're using this modem for business purposes, you may be
happier with a controller-based modem such as Zoom's 2920 or
USR's 5610B (or even an ISA solution like AOpen's FM56-ITU.)

That being said, problems with answering voice and fax calls
may be more of a function of the telephony application you are
using than the actual modem.
