For All You McAfee Users

  1. This discussion may be of particular interest: It seems a bad
..dat file was released; it targets many harmless DLL's & EXE's. There's
a link to McAfee that tells you how to restore the items (if you don't
have it set to auto-delete infected files).

The affected (BAD) DAT file is 4715 dated 3/10/06. McAffee issued a
corrected DAT file 4716 also dated 3/10/06. The user"s currently
installed DAT file is listed in About VirusScan.
