GeForce4 MX 440 with AGP8x and Gateway 2185W at 1680x1050 USED to work!

    I've spend way to many hours trying to figure this out by myself (about 8hours)...please can someone help!?

    This card and the monitors native resolution of 1680x1050 worked for me perfectly when i first hooked up the monitor. Then i had to do a factory restore on my computer. After which I downloaded the latest NVIDIA drivers from their sight...now i cannot get 1680x1050!?

    The cards cotrol panel says my monitors MAX resolution is 1280x1024!? I tried 3 different older sets of drivers from NVIDIA and also what i'm pretty sure was the driver i was using before the restore (Version 4.5.2.3 downloaded from windows update as a Nividia driver update specificaly for this card). This driver gets me the closest by regognizing that the native resolution is 1680x1050 but that resolution is not on the list for me to select!? So right now i'm using the maximum option it gives me 1600x1024.

    Any ideas??
