Ghost 2003 on NF7-S ver. 2

Discussion in 'Abit' started by Sheldon Roger, Jul 18, 2003.

  1. Am using two a Raid 0 setup with two Serillel adapters which works
well. Have noted that Ghost backups runs much slower than on a
previous MB with a Highpoint controller. Creating images is slow on
full DOS and more so when Ghost is run under Win XP. Had to substitute
MSDOS as couldn't run with PCDOS. Ghost is upgraded with the latest
aspiehci files as I write to a USB external drive.

    My Silicon BIOS is 4.2.12.

Any suggestions for speeding up the process?

Go into the bios and find the IDE controller set up and select IDE Bus
Master "enabled". I think it's on the PCI devices page.
