Good old Dell XPS T500

    I know its a tad old (about 7 years) but it still works great. I have upgraded it with a PIII 750 processor and additional HDDs and new sound and TV tuner card etc.
    I have two questions I am battling with.
    1) Is there a way to upgrade the motherboard so I can plonk in a P4 processor? Is it complicated to upgrade a MB?

    2) The fan on this system is old and noisy - what might be a good place to procure a new quiet fan?

    p.s. since there is talk about Dell service going on, I must say that I recently bought a Inspiron 700m when they were having those 40% off deals and they had to replace the MB and LCD twice in the first month - but the service was prompt and I am a happy Dell customer now. I try to use their chat support as often as possible. Those guys have no accents ;)
