Handling Keyboard Interrupts

Discussion in 'Hardware' started by Sudhir Durvausla, Dec 3, 2003.

  1. Hello,
I am writing a keyboard interrupt handler for an OS class at my
university. The OS I am working with is a simulation that involved
building a Tiny OS that is able to run on BOCHS.

The problem I am having is that occasionally, the keyboard interrupts
are coming in too fast for my event notifier and event handler to
process them. What can I do to slow these down (if anything). I
mean, is there a way by which I can delay my ISR from calling my
    notifier?

Please reply to if you can.

    Thanks!
