The hard drive on my Dell 600m was not detected by BIOS, so I decided to buy a new EIDE 2.5" hard drive to replace my old one, thinking that it would fix my problem; however, I'm still given the same error: "Primary Hard Drive 0 Not Found." Now, I'm not sure if I bought the right hard drive or if there could be another problem with the computer. The new hard drive has pins while the old one that came with the computer has a tab-like connector; although, the new hard drive seems to be able to fit in the area the old one was in. (The new HD is a western digital 2.5" laptop EIDE hard drive, and the old HD is a himatchi - or something close to that.) Thanks for any help!
