I bought some accessories for a laserjet IIIp on Ebay and the seller
gave me his dead printer in addition. Says it just stopped working one
day, no power. My best guess was the power supply failed and I got a
replacement. I there anything I should know about removing the old
supply and installing the replacement? I don't have a hp repair manual.

Disassemble it carefully. Remember where all the parts came from. Reassemble
carefully. See if you can find an inexpensive repair manual CD for sale on
eBay. Many of the LJ IIIp parts are the same as those used in the LJ IIp.
