help: new PB 17": FW800 HD and FW400 camcorder stop each other

    I have a new 17" PB.
    When I connect the camcorder to the FW400 port, iMovie plays the video
    and captures it. Same for Final Cut Express (2.0.3).
    If I connect my FW800 LaCie 300 GB hard disk, either the disk works or
    the capturing of the video (device not found).
    What's up?
    I need the large disk to capture video.
    (If it matters: the only device connected to mains is the FW hard disk).
