Having strange problems setting up the NF7-S.

When I turn on the machine, I get through to the Windows XP (SP1) just fine. But then when I restart the machine (START- TURN OFF COMPUTER - RESTART), I get through to the Windows XP desktop but both the keboard and the mouse are "frozen".

If I now reatart my mchine again using my front panel RESTART button, I get through to the desktop with the Keyboard and Mouse fine.

But then when I "soft" restart the machine again, the whole probelm repeats again....

What is going on ?

Need any and all help.

THANKS.

ZR

Hi,

beats the hell out of me, sounds mental!

Urm, not sure what to think really. Did you do anything to the mobo out the box? like did you flash a BIOS or anything?

I use this mobo, but I have a USB mouse and PS/2 keyboard, so can't confirm whether there is a problem with both PS/2's in use. Also did you wire up the case wires properly> like HDD light, S/W reset switch etc. . .?
