Highlight color for "Parent" folders in Finder window, Column view?

    When I select an item in any of the right-hand columns in a Finder
    window in Column View, its "Parent" (or "Ancestor"?) folders in all the
    columns to the left of that column are also highlighted, but in a barely
    visible gray color.

    Is there a preference somewhere to change that default color?
