I have a PC that crashed during an enforced windows 11 update. The recovery of the backup disk image was successfully restored but will not run because of a secure boot error, 0xc0000428 signature error. The remote backup support people want me to turn off the BIOS secure boot feature. Unlike most of the stuff I have found on line about ASUS motherboards, mine does not have a simple switch/button to turn this function on or off. I have tried various combinations of clearing keys and selecting other operating systems but something remains active. I have an ASUS A520-m-k motherboard.
Does anyone know how to switch off the secure boot function on this particular type of motherboard?
As you will already have guessed, I am not a computer technician.
