How do I prevent the "Are you sure you want to open it?" message

Discussion in 'Apple' started by laredotornado, Apr 15, 2010.

  1. I'm using Mac 10.6.3. I've downloaded a couple of apps (i.e. Firefox)
and whenever I launch them, I get the message, ""Firefox" is an
application downloaded from the Internet. Are you sure you want to
open it?". This message repeatedly comes up even after the first time
I say "Yes". How do I prevent this message from appearing? - Dave
