How to shred the harddisks of a Sun server

    Hello,

    I have been facing an issue with my Sun server.

    I can't find the command shred to erase securely my harddisks. I use to boot on a Linux Gentoo CD (Sparc arch) on my sun workstations and then to run the shred command.
    The problem is that the server doesnt want to boot on the CD so I have no way to erase my harddisks. The data stocked on the harddisks are confidential and I really need to shred it...

    Any idea how I can do it? Is it possible to compile shred on my Sun server? Is there any shred command on Sun that I don't know?
