This is not for my computer, but a friends.\n\nDuring bootup he gets a message "Memory not optimized, please read the\nmanual" (may not be exactly that, as Im not at his computer, but\nsomething to that effect). Of course the manual has no reference to\nthis message.\n\nHe is using a Dual Channel pc3200 kit from ocz. 2x512 sticks.\n\nCpuz is reporting that the memory is in single mode (huh?), and running\nat 167 mhz (again huh? shouldnt this be 200?)\n\nIm not sure what slots the memory are physically in, so Im guessing that\ncould be the problem (although if they were not in matching slots, would\nthe mb still recognize it as 1024?)\n\nAnd where are the memory settings int he bios? My epox board has tons\nof memory settings, yet I see none in the gigabyte bios....???\n\nAny ideas or help here?\n\nTHanks.
