Hi, Just bought a Pavilion a6200n desktop. I would like to install a PCI-E grahics card. I want to make sure that the graphics card will physically fit in the dedicated MOBO slot. (I've heard some may be too long.) Would a EVGA GeForce 8600GT fit? My MOBO is ECS mfg.--- model MCP61PM-HM. Also, I realize that the PSU will have to be upgraded. I'm cosidering a Corsair 450w unit. Could I damage the MOBO by putting in a PSU with too much wattage? This may be off target for this forum; but...there's a Psu length stop in the HP case. Can this be ajusted to fit a longer Psu?
I know nothing about computers. Thanks!!!
