The application "Explorer" could not be launched because of a shared
library error: "D<MacIE Carbon (Release)><MacIE Carbon
    (Release)><JavaEmbeddingLib><>"

I have removed every file associated with IE, re-downloaded,
reinstalled, restarted, and repeated the process at least 10 times to
no avail. i have removed shared files within the system, basically I
have exhausted every avenue I can think of... can anyone help. this
all started because I wanted to run a MS Media File that has a
security issue and needs to have IE as main browser. When I attemped
to upgrade this is what has happened.

    Please help!

    thanks, Rod.

Did you, remove IE's preferences files, run disk permissions, run Apple's
Disk Utility, run DiskWarrior, run TechTool Pro?
