I have an IBM 6862 and Just added 512MB Ram

    I have added 512MB Ram to an IBM 300PL and it detects all the ram including the original 128MB ram in it when I go to bios but now to get into bios I have to reset the CMOS every time and even then it'll go past the bios screen HDD light will come on for a second and nothing just blinking cursor or under score in the upper left corner? I think it is a bios setting or something but am not sure which when and would appreciate the help! Please and Thank You!
