IBM T30 (2366-66U) maximum memory amount

    Hello all,

I just aquired a T30 model 2366-66U and was wondering if anyone had
gotten more than the "official" amount of one gig of memory working in
it. I need to upgrade the RAM and if two one gig modules will work in
it I may buy such a kit.

I remember from prior experiences that memory technology advances
after a particular machine is built and sometimes you can use more
memory than you could when the machine was made and I was wondering if
it was the case with this model.

    Many thanks

    You may have bigger problems.

A great many T30's shipped with bad memory expansion slots and the repair
program for that has long since expired.
