IBM T42p laptop memory - where can I get it from?

Discussion in 'Laptops' started by Rajarshi Guha, Nov 11, 2004.

  1. Hi, I have a IBM T42p and am looking for a 512MB stick. All I can find in
my manual is that I need an SO-DIMM, but I'm not sure what speed/pins I
need. I looked on crucial.com and all I can find is that they have memory
    for a T42 (type 2378) whereas I have a T42p (type 2374). The online
support said that the former would work.

But does anybody who has a T42p know what memory I need and where I can
    get it from?

    Thanks for any pointers,
    Rajarshi
