IBM Thinkpad T40 & changes in BIOS. Where do I enter supervisor password?

Discussion in 'IBM Thinkpad' started by Evert Meulie esq., Dec 20, 2003.

  1. Hi!

I have an IBM Thinkpad T40 where the Supervisor/poweron password has
    been set.
The password I set gets accepted during boot, but then when I try to
make changes in the BIOS, it doesn't let me!

    What happened here...?

The Supervisor Password (SP) is different than the Power On Password (POP).
