Hello, I assembled the pc with the Abit IC7 motherboard. The motherboard doesn't boot up: anything beep come from the speaker and nothing is displayed on the screen. The IC7 is regularly power supplied, all fans run and the D1,D2 status indicators light up. I checked the connections and I tried to test IC7 with two different video cards (Radeon 9500 e Matrox g400). I also disconnected all peripherals and I applied the troubleshooting methods suggested in the manual without success. Anyone can tell me other checks to do or other hints to solve the problem? I need help. Thank you very much. ferro

ps: my componets are:
CPU Pentium IV 2.4 Ghz 800Mhz FSB
2x256MB DDR Kingston Hyper-X PC3500
Sapphire Radeon9500
HD IBM deskstar 17 GB ATA100
HD Maxtor 80 GB SATA
DVD-R Pioneer A05
Artec DVD-ROM Drive 16x
Power supplier Chieftec atx 420W dual fan active

I would be interested in the answer to this one.....mine does the same thing...

Did you plug in the 4 pin P4 power cable from the power supply (must be a P4 compatible power supply). This is in addition to the 20 pin ATX power cable.
