Help I am not sure what do do.
My newly built Computer with IC7-G board and 3K P4 has been working beautifully up to last night.
I was trying to record an audio clip from a cassette recorder using the onboard Realtek audio and after a few attempts with garbled quality I got the dreaded hardware error blue screen. I was using the "line in" input on the back panel connectors of the mobo. I restarted the computer and the bios freezes after the first few lines where it identifies the CPU. I cannot access the setup screen.
I have reset the CMOS using all three of the techniques described in the ABIT troubleshooting section of the manual. Still the same problem.
Can anyone suggest what other steps I can take. Did I blow up the mobo?
