IDE and SATA dives at the same time?

    can't seem to find anything about this...can I have both IDE and SATA
    hard drives installed on the same PEBT2 mobo?

    On the ICH5 chipsets, you have two each of ATA and sATA channels. You can use
    a total of two channels in legacy mode. This means they have BIOS support and
    are visible to standard IDE drivers.

    With Intel's driver or others with PnP IDE support, you see all channels.
