Intel D865GBF Desktop board

Discussion in 'Intel' started by Lionel Mitsuya, Aug 2, 2004.

  1. Greetings All,

    I have inherited a D865GBF board. I purchased 2 sticks of samsung
    pc3200 512MB memory (samsung p/n M368L6423DTL-CC4) & an Intel P4 2.8A
prescott proc. w/1mb L2 cache 90nm. I have assembled all into a enermax
    case w/300W p/s.

The unit powers up, but after a few seconds on, it turns itself off.
Because the unit powers down by itself, I am unable to read any BIOS
    info off the screen.

I would aprreciate any suggestions as to fixing this.

    Thanks in Advance

    Aloha from Honolulu, HI

Check your board revision number (AA something). Only newer revisions
    support Prescott 90nm processors.
