I recently built a system around an Intel DG35EC/Core2 Quad processor and the only problem is, no sound. I have spent several hours on the Intel support website and tried everything suggested on the FAQ's and work arounds, including downloading two new Realtek drivers (46mb & 54mb) and every time its the same results... Driver installation begins normally but fails at the 54% level of installation. I installed a new Windows XP Pro version with SP3 incorporated. I have been unable to get any type of response from Intel or from the vendor Directron, Inc in Houston, TX. They have not even acknowledged my request for help. Can someone tell me how to get help from Intel? I hate the thoughts of having to buy a sound card to resolve this problem... J. Baggett
