Is there any use for multiple soundcards in your computer?

    My computer has two PCI sound cards installed and another sound card built into the motherboard.

    I've noticed that I can record from multiple sources at the same time if I use a program that can do that.

    Are there any other cool things I can do with this many soundcards?
