IS7 - SATA and IDE drives

hi,

just got a new IS7 board. I have one SATA hdd and another IDE hdd. I connect the SATA hdd to SATA 1 and the IDE to IDE channel 1 master. My problem is I cant turn on the Enhanced mode at the OnChip Serial ATA menus. Mine only has selections for Auto, Manual and Disabled. No Combine or Enhanced mode. What did i do wrong?

you need to flash the bios for the mainboard to get that option.
