I have an IS7 board that hasa 3COM Marvell 940-MV00 lan controller installed. According to spec there is supposed to be a Realtek controller on the IS7. A number of sites have reported that the earlier IS7 had this chip installed. The lan is working fine but the 3COM diagnostics that installed with the driver don't seem to recognize this controller. Has anyone else observed this? This chip is suppposed to be a gigabit lan controller. I don't know if it is funtioning as such though.
