Has anyone encountered POST Code 8B before? It's not listed in the
manual that came with this board. I have assembled a machine based on
the IT7-MAX2. I have two optical drives connected as masters on IDE 1
and IDE2. I added identical Maxtor 6Y120P0 120GB drives as masters on
IDE3 and IDE4 with the intention of setting up a RAID array on the
HPT374 controller. All the drives are detected just fine during the
boot process, but after the HPT BIOS device scan, the boot just stops
and the LCD on the board displays '8b'.

When I disconnect the hard drives, the boot process proceeds normally
and I can boot from a CD. However with the drives connected, I get
stuck right after the drives are detected. The system does not respond
to the Ctrl-H command which is supposed to take me to the HPT374 BIOS.

    Any insight would be appreciated.
