My "new" motherboard is having problems with my AMD Athlon XP 2400+ processor. I've downloaded the most recent BIOS, which should support this. I've tried setting the board to 133/133, but it freezes up a few seconds after loading Windows XP. I have a 250W power supply, but it ran at the usual 2GHz with this power supply on another board, so I doubt it's the issue here.

I know there are tons of "2400s show up as 1800s" threads, but none of them involve freezing and most are fixed by setting the board to 133/133.

If it comes down to downloading a custom BIOS, which one should I go with?

Update: It locks in Ubuntu as well, so it's not the OS's fault.
