We are trying to put together a system using the Tyan K8SE motherboard
and dual single core Opterons from the AMD/Microsoft road show.

On powering up, the fans turn, the CD-ROM looks like it is being probed
and the HDD access light is lit briefly and after about 5 seconds the
system emits four separate beeps. After that nothing happens. No video -
    no anything.

The four separate beeps is not listed in the book. The TYAN book does
say that most common type of error is a memory error.

Does anywone know what this POST code means?

    Thanks,

    Mike

I recently had an issue with the 2466-N-4M, same four beeps.

It turned out to be memory related. I re-seated it and it worked. That
    might be your problem.
