So I was doing some cleaning up and found some RAM. I decided to add this 512mb stick to an old computer. I managed to break a release lever on the ram dock, then I added the ram stick. the computer will turn on but it won't output any video and no beeps.
It says System Failure CPU Test.
I was wondering if it sounds reasonable that the cpu is in fact not working, or if it could be the mother board having some issue?
I tried turning on the pc without any ram, as well as taking out and putting the cpu back in.
Does anyone have any suggestions, or should I just order another cpu and hope it works?
