What I wanted to know was does anyone happen to know what chips are used on the HyperX?

I'm using 2 Hyper PC3200 512 MB modules in dual channel mode in the IC7MAX. Works okay. The benefit of the PC3500 would be that using non default (slower) settings in BIOS for memory timing, it will be more stable at higher bus frequencies.

What I see with the HyperX PC3200 is that at default bus speeds the SPD settings are fine, but at any overclock at all the memory timing has to be slowed to be stable. I also need to pump up the DDR voltage to 2.7 volts for stability...
