KT7 (non A) and Athlon XP 2400+

Hello,

a fellow KT7 user installed Athlon XP 2400+ and it works well as long as the multiplier is set to 12.5 in bios. Computer fails to boot with any other multiplier.

He is using bios version "UL", that might be the problem ?

Could be. That's one of the first bioses for the board. Suggest he upgrade to A9. Should get the multipliers listed in Multiplier Cross Ref. in link below.
