Hi,

Following advice on this newsgroup (thanks) I have fairly painlessly swapped my trusty KT7-Raid for a NF7-S with a Barton 2500+ and 512Mb of Corsair Twin XMS.

All is wonderful apart from a minor niggle. My optical mouse stay lit up after I turn off the computer, it's sensor light even comes on when it is moved.

It is a microsoft USB mouse but plugged into the PS2 via an adapter. (I also changed the power supply to one with an additional 12v connection if this has any bearing.)

Is this usual for this motherboard?

I am very pleased with the result of the upgrade but am slightly puzzled by this.

Thanks

Yep the undocented jumper by the kb inputs of the mb turns this on and off... it's on for the wake up by mouse function, if you don't want to use that switch the jumper

Mine does the same with the PS2 adapt plugged in. I decided to run it on the USB instead and now it switches off when l power down. don't know why!
