Hi Anyone have a problem like I am having whereas I am getting a constant Direct 3-D failure after bootup? Upon installation of the drivers from the CD I get sound but no direct 3-D and after the latest update from Sound Blaster I have Direct 3-d up untill I reboot. In games and using various other programs I still have sound after rebooting and Windows 98Se tells me the hardware is running fine. I have 2 open IRQ's and there doesnt seem to be a configuration problem. I once had Win2000 (deleted) on a second hard drive (Drive D) and upon bootup I get an error about EMM386 in drive D having an error on line 3... no clue on that one.. anyone have any ideas???
