KT7A-Raid win 98 SE shut down problems

Hello,

I have a KT7A Raid with an AMD 900MHz Athlon running Win98SE and my computer will not shutdown. The closest I get is the "Windows is shutting down" screen. Then I have to manuaaly turn the computer off. Does anyone have any sugestions?

- Run MSCONFIG. Click Advanced. Put a check mark next to "disable fast shutdown".

- Download the Windows 98SE Shutdown Supplement (link below).

One fix solves the hanging on Shutdown problem. The other stops the computer restarting on a Shutdown request.

I forget which fixes what.
