LGA 775 upgrades

Discussion in 'Intel' started by Bill Davidsen, Oct 13, 2005.

  1. I have a number of systems running LGA 775 HT processors in ASUS boards,
and some budget for CPU upgrades but not system boards. I assume the
recent chips (ex: P4-660) would physically fit, but I doubt like hell
    they would WORK.

Sorry, just bitching, I realize vendors have to make their $$ on new
boards, but while I could finesse the boards, the downtime and labor
needed for a board upgrade is not, so money isn't really the issue.

    I hate computers...
