MAc friendly PCI board wanted

Discussion in 'Apple' started by Karel Koskuba, Nov 23, 2007.

  1. After getting Leopard, I have installed a PCI USB 2.0 card (I think it's
a Belkin card) in my G4 PowerMac (as it had only USB 1.1) and put on it
an ext. USB drive for Time Machine. Unfortunately, when the PM falls
asleep, it loses sight of the drive and I get "device you removed not
properly put away" when it wakes up!

Does anyone know of a USB PCI card that would cope with the sleep?

  2. It's a Belkin F5U220 USB 2.0 card. Belkin do not supply any drivers for
    OS X - it should just plug'n'play.
