    I suddenly have a problem with a unix computer's drive that I
am sharing via netatalk with some Mac OS 9 machines in my group.

The share used to mount properly, giving read write permissions to
all my files, but now the Macintosh will mount my shared drive -
and not show any files in the directory!

I am also sharing this drive with windoze and other linux
computers, and the files there are available with no problems.

Does anybody have any ideas why this might be happening? Something
to do with the resource fork(s) in the directory, perhaps?
