MacOS X 10.3.4 and TechTool Pro 4.02 problem

Discussion in 'Apple' started by Michael Vilain, Jun 3, 2004.

  1. I installed TechTool Pro 4.02 under MacOS X 10.3.3 and setup the
protection setup. Now, when I reboot after applying the 10.3.4 update,
on reboot, MacOS complains that the following kernel extensions are
    improperly installed:

    /Applications/TechTool Pro
    4.app/Contents/SharedServices/0-StartupInit.service/Contents/Frameworks/T
    TP4ATA.kext
    /Applications/TechTool Pro
    4.app/Contents/SharedServices/0-StartupInit.service/Contents/Frameworks/T
    TP4FW.kext

Anyone know how to fix this? Micromat hasn't posted anything about it
    on their support forum.

  2. Solved. Performed Uninstall, reboot (to check that it was working w/o
TTP), then re-install (which requires a reboot). Works OK now.
