MBR Error

Hi

i was just wondring if, on start up, recieving a message MBR Error could be caused by hard drive failure.

and if so could i use my other HD, as i have two and how wouldi go about doing that?

And i have a wireless keyboard which isn't working, and i pluged in a normal keyboard but i dont think my computer has a driver for it.

Is it all over for my computer, i think ill jump off a cliff if it is, i worked so damn hard to buy the damn thing!!!!!
