monitor (F1703) Went--can I Fix

    F1703--monitor Went--can I Fix

    Recently came home and found my great f1703 all green and and lined--the screen went--this happened after a thunderstorm--however I have a surge protector and do not believe it died b/c of the storm--in any event I see these sell in on ebay for 40-50 bucks--can they be fixed? I rather fix same as I paid approx 400 bucks for it--please advise and if so how?
