I don't know how I found this, or if I can get back? I could not find out how to post.

My original OS was WXP Home Ed FAT32 preinstalled. I had to get the Hard drive replaced and when they fixed it they changed the OS to NTFS. They gave me a copy of my WXP on a CD in case I needed to reinstall it.

Here is my problem: I have to reinstall WinXP Home ED. because I messed up my registry.
I was told to run the WXP CD and then I would have to Reload my Drivers for my Motherboard. I don't know what Motherboard I have
The Manual I have gives "L4S5MG3 but before I messed it up I ran MSINFO32 and pulled up the following INFO: (the Motherboard is different) and there is also something called :Main Circuit Board : SiS-650GX

It's a good thing I did not Reinstall WinXP. I asked the PCRepair folks if i would be able to get on line if I reinstalled WXP and they said NO, I would have to download the Motherboard Drivers and burn them to a CD and then install them after I reinstalled WXP.
I'm so lost now I am about to give up unless someone can help me with this problem. If I take back to them they will have to charge me another $100.00.
I may be better off just buying another PC if I cant get any help from this site. I see were there was 9 views but no answers. I hope someone can help this STUPID O'L MAN ?
Anyway thanks for looking:)

Don't understand??

Do I have the wrong forum? It says Motherboard and Hardware Technical Discussion Forums.
There must be someone who can help me with my problem.
I will start all over.
I have to reinstall WXP , I was told I had to download the DRIVERS for my Motherboard and burn them to a CD before I reinstall WXP because I will not be able to get on line if I reinstall WXP unless I have the Motherboard Drivers. I do not know how to get these drivers. surely someone can tell me how to get these Drivers. The Name of my PC is:
V2 Premier and I think it was made by the --Viscom Technology Group inc. I don' think they are in business anymore

Am I doing something wrong? I feel like I must not be doing this right. If I am please tell me because I do not mean to be doing the wrong thing. I see where there are a lot of views but no answers. I can get on line with Firefox and surf the Web but I have lost most of my WXP programs because of the Stupid thing I did by messing up my Registry. I need to reinstall WXP but I have to have the Motherboard Driver/s downloaded and burned to a CD or I will not be able to get on line after i reinstall WXP.

Thank You:)
