MS-6340 V1 USB pins

Discussion in 'MSI' started by Andrew Wilkins, Jun 23, 2003.

  1. I have a problem with identifing the correct pins on a MS-6340 V1
motherboard as found in a Packard Bell i_media pc. The USB2-3 header has
    only 8 pins arranged:

    O - O O -
    O O O O O

(Where O is a pin and- is blank).

Can anyone help identifing which pin is which. I have downloaded the
motherboard manual from the MSI website, but the pin diagram there refers to
9 pins, not eight, and the configuration definately does not agree with the
    cable that was orginally connected.

Need this to connect up the front panel USB ports after the motherboard blew
up and has been replaced with a SIS model.

    Any help much appreciated.

    Try the manual at
